What is Thermoplastic Striping?

Thermoplastic striping is highly durable, making it ideal for marking public and private roads and parking lots due to its long-lasting life span.

The process involves sealing the concrete or asphalt with a curing compound, melting down powdered Thermo at 450 degrees, and then applying with an extruded hand liner.

We use an alkyd formulation as it is washable with water, environmentally friendly, and provides a professional finish without streaks.

The colors are super-saturated for clearly marked lanes and spaces. By using our thermoplastics, you will guarantee safe road markings for your customers.

What is Prefabricted Thermoplastic?

Prefabricated thermoplastics, or preformed thermoplastics, are similar to thermoplastic striping, but it does have a few key differences. It lasts six to eight times longer than traditional road paint and contains zero lead chromate or VOCs. It complies with MUTCD. Primary use is for regulatory markings on public streets, highways, and private properties. Retro reflectivity, glass beads mixed throughout so that wear doesn’t remove the shine, allows for shininess, and allows a clean, crisp appearance. Fabricated at an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility and has excellent mobilization requiring zero equipment to set up or clean.

Thermoplastic Striping Benefits

Why should you choose thermoplastics for your parking lot striping and lane marking?

Extreme Durability

It doesn’t crack, chip, or shatter; thermoplastics can withstand any heavy objects going over it or blunt force. It also has high reflectivity, which lets drivers see it well during the day and the night.

Money Savings

Due to the resistive properties of thermoplastics, it is crucial to know that it has a vastly longer lifespan when compared to regular striping paint. It penetrates deep and gets rid of some stains as well.

Hassle-Free

Higher volume areas might need to be striped a few times a year. Using water to clean regular paint can lead to peeling or other issues, but this is not a concern with thermoplastics, and it is easy to get clean with water and will allow you more time to run your business.
